Two producers, an investor, a deadline, one night, a woman, a gun and a hopelessly romantic boy. While wandering through the night, director Alex searches for the essence of his film. He seems to have lost his inspiration, on top of that he finds his girlfriend walking out on him. Why? What happened? Where did it all go wrong? The more he wanders Alex gets convinced that the essence of his film concerns a struggle between love and ambition. But slowly we get to learn that he is finding difficulties balancing the disappointing reality (the world in front of his eyes) and his imagination (the world behind his eyes). Meanwhile, the dividing line between fiction and reality becomes increasingly turbid. Is Alex entangled in his own film? A lyrical film noir about two producers, an investor, a deadline, one night, a woman, a gun and a hopelessly romantic boy.
