On the day he retires, 60 year old principal and widower LEOPOLD VOSSIUS (Jan Decleir) receives news from his housekeeper Ada; she’s going to return to her homeland. Leopold’s neighbor JULIEN (Wim Opbrouck), who eagerly wants to give his unwanted help, convinces Leopold to find a wife using the website truelove.com. The interest is overwhelming and Leopold starts to date. On the day of his first date, Ada’s replacement shows up; her Romanian cousin ALINA (Maria Popistasu), who is beautiful yet devastatingly clumsy. Leopold finds Alina increasingly exasperating and in more ways than one, she affects his life and turns it completely upside down.
