Fifteen-year-old Vos grows up in the idyllic nature of Norway, cut off from the outside world, together with his spiritual mother Grace and his four siblings. When his sister Liv becomes seriously ill, his mother seeks healing through rituals and natural remedies. Vos eventually flees to the inhabited world in search of help.
