On Wednesday, November 29, the audience at the Leuven International Short Film Festival chose Pedro by Aline Boyen as the winner of the Humo Award. The film was also screened at the Brussels Short Film Festival (May 2024) where Wouter Hendrickx won the prize for best actor for his portrayal of Pedro in the film.

Ex-convict Pedro (Wouter Hendrickx) takes up his old job as a bus driver for tourists. But the long drive through the mountains with its passengers proves especially challenging.

Pedro is A Private View production which was coproduced with Facundo Quevedo in Spain. It was created with the support of The Flanders Audiovisual Fund (VAF) and The Belgian Tax Shelter.
