Little Story Wins RTBF-AUVIO Award at Anima Festival

We are thrilled to announce that LITTLE STORY (KLEIN VERHAAL) had its premiere at the Anima Festival on March 5, 2025, and was honored with the RTBF-AUVIO Award, which includes the acquisition of broadcasting rights.

It is a short film by Mirjam Plettinx and is a beautiful story based on the book ‘Klein Verhaal met een hart’ by Elvis Peeters and Pieter Gaudesaboos.
Little Story is the tender tale of a hard-working Ant and her little red egg. It’s a story about motherly love and having to make an impossible decision.

“I have been working in the animation film industry for more than eight years now. Mostly as an animator, sometimes as a designer or set dresser. In recent years, I was thinking more and more about starting my own project, about directing something myself. And then Pieter’s book came my way. Little Story is about adoption. It is an intense subject. It is not taken from my own life. Yet while reading Pieter’s book, I empathised so much with the mother. With her struggle, doubts and her despair. The story moved me deeply.” Director Mirjam Plettinx.
