We’re proud to announce that Reedland, the first feature film by the incredibly talented Sven Bresser, has been selected  as the closing film of the 45th edition of the Netherlands Film Festival! After its world premiere this May at La Semaine de la Critique in Cannes, Reedland will make its Dutch debut as the NFF closing film on October 1 in Utrecht.

Reedland tells the story of reed cutter Johan, who is struck by a vague sense of guilt after discovering the lifeless body of a young girl on his land. While caring for his granddaughter, he begins searching for answers and for the source of the evil he suspects is behind it.

This film is produced by Viking Film in co-production with A Private View. Reedland is both directed and written by Sven Bresser stars Loïs Reinders and Gerrit Knobbe.
