We are proud to announce the Belgian release of Beginnings, a major production by Snowglobe, co-produced by Hobab and Lemming Film Belgium.

Following its presentation at the Berlin International Film Festival 2025, Beginnings will be released in Belgian cinemas on April 15.

Directed by Jeanette Nordahl, who co-wrote the screenplay with Rasmus Birch, the film stars Trine Dyrholm (Ane) and David Dencik (Thomas).

The story follows Ane and Thomas, a couple in the midst of a divorce who have yet to tell their children. As Thomas prepares to move in with his new partner, Ane is suddenly struck by a life-changing stroke. Forced to continue living together during her recovery, they must confront a new reality—one that challenges their separation and compels them to reconsider what it means to be a family.

Beginnings is a deeply human story about love, resilience, and the fragile bonds that connect us, even in times of profound change.
