On Tuesday, September 9, we received the wonderful news that we have received VAF production support for two projects:

The first project is O Lovely Belgium, written by Jean-Claude van Rijckeghem and directed by Stijn Coninx.

On the eve of Belgium’s historic split, two prime ministers — the Flemish Johan and the Walloon Florence — embark on a chaotic journey to rewrite a crucial manifesto. They clash over money, the king, and the ideals they once firmly believed in. By the end of their odyssey, they realize that the road to separation has brought them together.

Amari has also received production support; this film is written by Wendy Huyghe and will be directed by Domien Huyghe.

A disillusioned father and his activist teenage daughter try to reconnect in a world that feels unfair to them both. If they don’t want to lose each other forever, they will have to make extreme choices.

And that’s not all, we also received script support for Nooit meer (alleen), written and to be directed by Ann-Julie Vervaeke.

We are incredibly proud of our creators and can’t wait to bring these stories to the big screen
